This is a true story of violence, extraordinary love, hatred, revenge and murder, all set against a backdrop of settler life
in the New World. Politics and religion clash violently. The story spans two generations and the main characters are compelling – a determined immigrant and his handsome sons, a mysterious drifter with an unwavering hatred for the family, a dogmatic Catholic priest, a child witness to horrible murders, and, finally, a friend’s betrayal. We will hear for the first time from actual descendants of those who were on trial for the murders as well as descendants of the murdered family.
